Exuberant Praise
Psalm 150
Psalm 150
1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

To close out the work week, we are focusing on "Halal" - praise that involves jumping, dancing, or being loud and clamorous.
Psalm 150, is a crescendo of praise, calling us to praise God with everything we have. Sometimes, our worship can become routine or reserved. Today, challenge yourself to express your praise more freely and fully.
This might mean singing louder, raising your hands higher, or even dancing before the Lord like David did. Remember, God is worthy of our most exuberant praise. It is beautiful when done unto the Lord and you don't need to worry about what anyone else may think. Just focus on Him and give Him true worship and praise with all of your might, strength and heart!
How can you step out of your comfort zone in worship today? Let your praise be a full-body, full-heart expression of love for the One who gave all for you.
